BioCoat™ SWaE250

BioCoat™ SWaE250

Water-Based Epoxy Primer | Two-Component

BioCoat SWaE250 is a bio-based, water-based, two-component epoxy primer engineered to provide strong adhesion and reliable surface preparation across a wide range of substrates. Designed for ease of use and professional performance, it delivers excellent bonding strength on concrete, ceramic, wood, and metal, making it a versatile primer for multi-surface coating systems.

With low VOCs and no odor, BioCoat SWaE250 supports improved indoor air quality and is well suited for occupied or compliance-driven environments. Its fast dry time and water-reducible formulation help streamline application while maintaining the durability expected from industrial epoxy primers.

Designed for Reliable System Performance

BioCoat SWaE250 creates a durable, uniform base layer that enhances adhesion between substrates and subsequent epoxy or polyurethane coatings. Its low-viscosity, water-based system allows for easy application and penetration, supporting consistent coverage and long-term performance in flooring and protective coating systems.

Directions For Use

Surface Preparation:

  1. For high strength structural coatings, remove surface contaminants such as paint, oxide films, oils, dust, mold release agents and all other surface contaminants.
  2. Use gloves to minimize skin contact.

Mixing Instructions for a 5-Gallon Kit:

  1. Full cure in 5 days.
  2. Mix Part A well prior to use. Use a paint stick or a drill mixer.
  3. Add all of Part B to Part A. Mix 5 minutes using a drill mixer.
  4. Add the required amount of water to Part A (as per label instructions).
  5. Mix for 5 minutes using a drill mixer.
  6. Add the entire content of the Accelerator to Part A if a faster dry is desired.
  7. Mix for 5 minutes using a drill mixer.
  8. Apply with brush, roller or sprayer to substrate.
  9. Apply coating at 5 wet mil to 6 wet mil thickness
  10. Coating will be dry to touch in 3-4 hours when using the included Accelerator.
