Founded as the second company within Big Idea Ventures’ Generation Food Rural Partners (GFRP) Fund, BioBond is driven by a commitment to innovation and delivering superior products. Our journey began with a clear vision: to displace traditional petroleum-based materials with safer, healthier alternatives that do not compromise on quality or efficiency. We achieve this through the strategic licensing of intellectual property from multiple universities, complemented by our own ongoing development of novel materials. This collaborative approach allows us to significantly reduce plastic waste and harmful VOCs like formaldehydes entering the environment.

We are headquartered in Westpoint, Indiana (just outside Lafayette) – literally surrounded by corn and soybean fields. We also have a small lab in Santa Ana, California enabling us to serve our diverse client base efficiently.
